Basically ask yourself what are you going to be using the camera for, what are you going to photograph? Are you interested in photographing birds for instance, in which case you’re probably going to want a good zoom or telephoto lens? Or at the other end of the scale are you interested in photographing plants or small insects that would require a macro lens?
